When a place serves garlic oil with their noodles or mie ayam then I am always in for that. I added another packet of the garlic oil as I love it. Their noodles are nice, with plenty of toppings and we did it through grab so didn’t have to leave the house for the food. Love that they actually have date codes on their packaged foods. Their noodles are a bit pricier but you get clean, quality, and non contaminated food which is 👍🏽

Went here 12PM Sunday for lunch, was not really crowded at the moment. Located inside Shophaus Menteng 2nd floor, they offer assorted artisan noodles and the toppings (pangsit, meatball, suike, etc). Price is relatively ok. I had their mie keriting ayam charsiew with beef meatball. The noodle is thin but chewy, the charsiew & meatball are tender, the broth is rich in flavor and the garlic & chili oil garnish complement the noodle itself. Will come back to try their other noodles as they have mie karet and mie lebar variants too.

Another decent artisanal mie ayam in Jakarta. I ate at their Menteng branch, located inside Shophaus Menteng. So you guess the parking is quite expensive, because you have to valet. Place for eat quite frustrating as there’s only few tables around and you have to compete with other people who eat from another food chain (like a food court). Other than that, I would say it’s a decent bowl of mie ayam. Taste great for an artisanal mie ayam, but the seasoning wasn’t even, so there’s several part still tasteless. Overall, you can give it a try but I will not craving for another bowl anytime soon.

An elevated version of chicken noodle we used to find & dine on the road’s curbside. The chicken was tender & flavorful while the noodle’s consistency was also nice. A portion of chicken noodles costs 35k which is affordable & considered ‘cheap’ compared to other food selections at shophaus menteng. Not forget to mention & appreciate their neat plating presentation, keep up the good work Demie Team!

Shophaus Menteng is one of the best place to go if you want to have a great meal but you haven't decided what kind of meal to get. Shophaus is a collection of various restaurant with shared dining space. It has burgers, noodles, chicken wings, even gelato. It has also has outdoor sections in the ground and the second floor. Though it is quite spacious, Shophaus could get very crowded in peak hours. I went here a few weeks ago, wanting to get a great dinner.The choices available overwhelms me as I wanted to try everything in Shophous. Alas, a man could only eat so much at a time so I decided to try Demie 69 which was located in the second floor. I tried their Mie Karet Ayam Jamur and Liang Tea. The noodle was tasty. It was like if your typical 'mie ayam abang-abang' has managed to get a scholarship and passed its thesis defense with a great score. Definitely naik kelas. - Cheers! Delicious noodles with a good amount of topping. Various types available, but they are famous for - Mie keriting, made with egg yolk, and - Mie karet, a chewy noodle made with duck egg. Worth noting before you order is that the pangsit goreng is only the dough sheet without any filling. Perfect for accompanying crunch. Sambal, which was pretty spicy, and the fried garlic rounded everything out. Recommend for noodle enthusiasts! Located inside Shophaus on the second floor
